Puhdys 1
A pearl of the LP box is the abum "Puhdys 1" specially put together for the west market, the content of which is based on the first three GDR albums. The work is full to the brim with classics such as "Ikarus", "song for generations" or "When a person lives" as well as the soundtrack hit "Go to her" from the cult film "Paul and Paula" and represents the "standard work" of every West fans. A good 40 years after this extremely successful LP disappeared from the shelves, the collector's item is now celebrating its resurrection.
Pearl fisherman
"Pearl fisherman" is considered another highlight and Puhdy's milestone, which now makes evergreens like "wild years" or "When dreams die" again on vinyl. In fan and criticism circles, the LP is also named as the “special LP” by its musical / textual claim.
Computer career
The third album classic of the box is the album "Computer-Karriere" influenced by "New Wave / NDW" and "Elektrorock". This is the best-selling Puhdys album of the GDR with the FRG "cover variant".
New heroes
The pioneering work "New Heroes", published in 1989, picks up the zeitgeist and had to be trivialized in an unadorned cover in the last official act of the GDR cultural managers, which is why the clearly politically position is used here for re-publication, which was then only allowed to appear in the West.
