Please contact US or your ENGINE BUILDER if you are unsure of the engine bearing size or type you require.

Engine Bearing packs are internally shrink wrapped/sealed and if the wrapping/seal has been cut or opened, the bearings CANNOT be returned for credit if you find you have ordered the incorrect part.

Bearing Types



RACE or RACE SERIES, means heavy duty bearings suitable for race engines.

EXTRA, means the bearing has extra clearance for race applications.

RACE DOWEL, means the bearing has a dowel hole in it for locating on a dowel pin. Used in Racing Applications.

THICK/THICKER BACK, means the bearing shell has a +002" thousandths of an inch thicker back, to suit con rod or main bearing openings that cannot be machined down to the standard opening size.


STD means a standard size bearing.
STDX means a standard size bearing with EXTRA clearance.
+.000" means a standard size bearing.
+.001" means the bearing is one thousandth of an inch oversize.
+.010" means the bearing is ten thousandths of an inch oversize.
+.011" means the bearing is eleven thousandth of an inch oversize.
+.020" means the bearing is twenty thousandths of an inch oversize.
+.021" means the bearing is twenty one thousandths of an inch oversize.
+.030" means the bearing is thirty thousandths of an inch oversize.
+.040" means the bearing is fourty thousandths of an inch oversize.
+.060" means the bearing is sixty thousandths of an inch oversize.
+.25mm means the bearing is 1/4 of a mm or ten thousandths of an inch oversize.
+.50mm means the bearing is 1/2 of a mm or twenty thousandth of an inch oversize.
