Genuine Original Solex VW 34 Pict 4 Carburettor

Original fitment to 1600 Beetles between Aug 1975 and Jan 1980 with engine numbers between AS269031 and AF129120

Not to be confused with the other 34 Pict 4 with accelerator connection on the other side, see my other listings for one of those

Would also suit other twin port Type 1 VW Aircooled engine applications where a 34 Pict 3 could be used

Fully stripped and, vapour blast and ultrasonically cleaned, then rebuilt with all new gaskets, seals and diaphragms. 

This has undergone a thorough deep clean incl. removal of ball bearing check valves, the body has been vapour blasted, then soaked and hot ultrasonic cleaned, finishing with compressed air blown through all passages.

The main shaft bushes have been replaced on this one and now there is zero play in the shaft.

Jets all soaked and cleaned.
