This is the remastered edition of the album which originally came out in 1993 on the band’s own Toff label from 2024. The CD contains a live version of ”The Last Man on Earth” as additional track.

“The Window of Life” is regarded as best Pendragon album by many Pendragon fans. This also is one of my favourite CDs. In my opinion this album is really great in every aspect: excellent compositions, melodies and production, fantastic guitars and keyboards, powerful drum and bass work, perfect and extended instrumental parts and very good vocals. The remastering has further improved the well recorded sound quality of the original album so that the sound on this CD is really phenomenal.

“The Window of Life” wird von vielen Pendragon-Anhängern als das beste Pendragon-Album angesehen. Dies ist auch eine meiner Lieblings-CDs. M.E. ist dieses Album in jeder Hinsicht voll gelungen: exzellente Kompositionen, Melodien und Produktion, fantastische Gitarren und Keyboards, kraftvolle Schlagzeug- und Bass-Arbeit, perfekte und ausgedehnte Instrumentalteile, sehr guter Gesang. Das Remastering hat die ohnehin tolle Aufnahmequalität auf der Originalausgabe noch weiter verbessert, so dass der Sound auf dieser CD echt Spitze ist.
