"A" compartments: accomodates 6 knives ranging from 6 to 10 inches in length. Types of knives could be as follows: utility, slicing, carving, bread or chef's knives

"B" Compartments: accomodates 6 knives with blades measuring up to 5 inches. Types of knives could be peeling, paring, utility, tomato or steak knives 

"C" Compartment: Accommodates holds 1 sharpening steell up to 10 inches in length.
