See all pictures CLOSELY.  The clock has never been taken out of the package.  But the top of the packaging is damaged.   Plus, other scratches and scuffs on the box.  This is shown and is obvious in the pictures.  There is no obvious damage to the clock itself, ie the plastic housing or the face.
