A superb and detailed model of the versatile German half track. The 251 was used throughout the war from 1939 right through to 1945 and saw service on all fronts. The 251 was the subject of many many variants from command vehicles and infantry support vehicles to ambulances, mortar carriers and anti tank platforms.

The Sd Kfz 251/6 was a fully equipped command variant with FuG11 and FuG Tr 100mw radio equipment. Later versions were fitted with FuG19 and FuG12 radio equipment. It was armed with one 7.92mm MG34 although images exist of 251/6 mounting a 2.8cm Panzerbusche 41. The 251/6 included map boards as well as cipher and encoding machines. Production was discontinued in 1943.

This is a fast build kit designed for wargamers.
