To use this one you need to purchase a Dyson V10 (SV12) screw in battery and charger. You can either choose genuine Dyson for this or get a cheaper non branded version.
Note if you are upgrading from the V10 or V11 then you can use your old charger. The V10, V11 & V15 share the same charger. Also the wall dock is the same as the V11 SV15 (clip in battery)
This is the most cost effective way to upgrade your old Dyson Stick Vacuum.
If you have a previous model V7 / V8 / V10, you can use all of the powered attachments and stick/pole with this new V11 unit. This means you do not have the unnecessary cost to repurchase all of these items
NOTE: You can use V6 parts with this however you need an adapter and you cannot use any of your powered V6 items, so rather than mess about its better to just sell all of your V6 items to offset the cost of the upgrade to this V11 unit. Then you can purchase new or used V7 / V8 / V10 / V11 tools for this one.
