FAULT DIAGSOTIC SERVICE for your Audi TT (8N) MK1 CCM (Comfort Control Module / Convenience Control Module)

This is for a test and diagnostic service only on your MK1 Audi TT CCM. We will test your CCM on our computer system (see the last photo) and provide a summary of any faults / damage present. This listing does not include the cost of any repairs.

If you know your CCM is in need of repair, please see the listing in our store for repair. In the event we find a fault with your CCM and you then authorise us to repair it we will invoice you for difference up to the repair cost.

Diagnosis turnaround time is typically 3 days plus return shipping time (next day shipping for UK customers). If you send in your key fob(s) with your CCM (only the part with the buttons and the battery, not the key blade), we'll test your keys and code them to your CCM if needed.

If your TT is a Roadster, please check the part number on the case on removal. Roadsters start with 8N7, Coupes 8N8. Due to the cost difference between these parts owners sometimes fit an 8N8 coupe unit into a Roadster. The soft top will not function with a Coupe CCM. Please message us if yours has been swapped.

The CCM controls the following features on your TT:

1. Central locking

2. Lock & unlock via the key buttons

3. Door open detection

4. Petrol/gas tank flap release

5. Tailgate / boot release

6. Alarm system (not the immobiliser)

7. Soft top roof (Roadster)

 

How to use our service:

 

- Purchase the listed service or message us if you have any questions or if you are outside the UK

- After purchase we'll send you shipping instructions and additional contact details

- Pack your item in a robust box with plenty of protective packing around it

- Include your contact details and eBay username inside the box

- Ship to us using a tracked service from your chosen courier

- Inspect and clean water and/or burn damage

- Perform full diagnosis

- Report on any faults we find

- Pack and dispatch back to you

Important information:

With the CCM removed the functions listed above will NOT operate. Check the mechanical lock on the drivers door operates smoothly with the key before removing your CCM from the car. In some regions and model years your TT may also not start, please check with the CCM removed.
