This is s very nice photograph with the following official stamp on the back upper left corner:

"SC A98235  Washington D.C.

The Pentagon, Nerve Center

Pentagon personnel make 135,000 phone calls daily.  There are 20,000 instruments in operation connected by 90,000 miles of cable.  the building's switchboard is comparable to the ones used in the fairly large American cities.
