Suite for Solo Cimbalom

The "Suite for Solo Cimbalom" was written for virtuoso soloist Matej Cip, featured in Kryszak's concerto/film score for "Nosferatu" (1922), with The New England Film Orchestra in Boston in 2024. The solo suite explores the limits of cimbalom range and linear virtuosity, where Kryszak's original solo guitar lines are reinvented to reveal the unmistakable fusion of percussion and lyricism embodied by one of Eastern Europe's most amazing musical inventions.
