Changing frame rail filter

Remove sensor harness, and lossen filter housing with a 1 1/4" socket or 32mm or use a strap wrench. I highly recommend a strap wrench so you don't shear the plastic housing. Turn 3 TIMES (before opening the drain valve as to not drench yourself in fuel) then losses yellow drain valve and drain into suitable container. Remember to lube new o-ring and re install everything.

Changing engine filter

Remove the fuel line keepers on both lines and by pushing down the yellow tabs and the keeper will go down out of the way, the other fuel line will come off by squeezing both white tabs inward then remove. Loosen the 7mm nut use a 7mm socket wrench to loosen the clamp around the filter, twist to the right until it stops then pull upwards, and install following the same steps in reverse order.

When all done with both filters:

You must cycle the key to the on position 6 times waiting approx 30 secs each time before trying to start truck.Turn ignition key to on, but do not start. Wait 30 seconds until the fuel pump times out, then turn the key back to off. Repeat 6 times. You will probably notice strange noises coming from the fuel system until it is mostly full.
