Welcome to my auction! New England Glass Company introduced their Union pattern in 1869. This is a water goblet from that line, but in today's standards it's more of a wine glass. Stand almost 7" tall with a 3-1/2" base, it has a 10 ounce capacity. It is made of flint glass, aka leaded glass crystal and has a long wonderful bell tone resonance. As such, though, this glass weighs in at one and a half pounds and will ship at 3 pounds. Manufacture issue it has several small to medium side air bubble and stretched minute bubbles in the base. Use damage includes, on the top edge, a tiny nick and a medium chip (1/4"), a couple nicks on the stem points that can be felt and a rough spot on a scallop arch that might be a collapsed air bubble. Not too bad for a 150+ year old piece of crystal!

Est. shipping is based on estimated packaged weight from 80918 and handling. I will never charge more than I have estimated. If I underestimate in the shipping calculator, I pay the difference. I try very hard to keep my DSR star rating high. Please keep in mind I ship within 3 days of receiving cleared payment, once in the mail system I have no control over how long it takes to get to you.
