This pocket watch presented by American Coin Treasures is a classic time piece featuring a sleek silver tone case that houses a genuine United States half dollar. An American Bald Eagle with the United States Flag is colorized using a special ink process on a JFK Half Dollar. The JFK Half Dollar first minted in 1964 was intended as a memorial to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. It is still minted today but rarely seen as they have not been released into circulation for over 10 years. The coin is secure in the pocket watch casing and opens to quartz style and second sweeping hand over classic Roman numerals. The pocket watch is 1 7/8 inches in diameter and hangs from a 14 inch steel fob open link chain. This historical high polished time piece displays the beauty of a genuine US coin, colorized with two of America's national symbols the bald eagle and the flag, on the front and then brushed finish on the back. The watch comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Needs a new battery.
