Here's a real crude amber pontiled umbrella ink bottle in a style I've never seen before, so I'm not sure of its age?? I got it in a small group of mostly early pontiled ink bottles. It has 8 sloping panels with a small ring around base....hand blown with rough open pontil scar on bottom that has dark iron deposit in it...crude smooth sheared lip....amber...2 1/4"tall....Excellent condition with only one small chip near base; no other damage. Some natural roughness on surface. Crude formed with warped base. I dont know what to think about this bottle....it may be an original 1850 era umbrella ink, but could be a real good looking reproduction? I just cant recall seeing a repro pontiled umbrella ink this good...... FREE SHIPPING WITH TRACKING ANYWHERE WITHIN THE U.S.A...THIS IS A FIXED PRICE, BUY IT NOW BOTTLE FOR SALE IN MY STORE.
