I grew up reading Byte Magazine and was always fascinated by their concepts of the future. A lot of their ideas actually came true! The computer wristwatch was one of those. The first computerized "smart" watch was produced by Seiko, just a few years after this issue of Byte. It was a "personal information processor” that you could wear on your wrist, though a keyboard, printer and other accessories were available. It was originally released for $300 in 1984, or almost $1,000 today adjusted for inflation.

The most successful smartwatch was probably the Apple Watch, which came out in 2016. This cover art was created by Robert Tinney, a commercial artist whose name is synonymous with the birth of personal computing. Very Good or better condition.  Guaranteed to be as described and shown
