 These richly encrusted beads display the distinct turquoise and mineral-patinated hues typical of Roman faience work,               dating from around the 2nd to 4th century AD. 

Each bead is unique in shape and surface character, showing gentle weathering from centuries of burial,                                        now cleaned and restrung on modern thread.

Evocative of ancient craftsmanship and everyday Roman adornment, this necklace has been restrung as                                          found and is wearable with care or ideal for display.
