The original Porsche Cayenne and Volkswagen Touareg are controversial cars in the context of perception, but historically they are clearly outstanding. After all, it was thanks to the Touareg that the idea of ​​a luxurious "people's car" gained commercial success (unlike the Phaeton sedan). As for the Cayenne model, it is thanks to it that the Porsche company still exists, being able to produce frank sports cars, such as the Boxster/Cayman or the world-famous and adored 911.

Today, these luxury crossovers are considered classics by manufacturing companies: there are appropriate support and factory restoration programs for them. Given the amount of electronics that the Cayenne and Touareg platforms have, proper care for these cars is absolutely necessary. But not everyone can afford to send their favorite car to Germany and pay several thousand euros for its restoration. For cars equipped with a six-cylinder engine, we have created a radiator hose P491, which replaces the factory part 7L0121070A. In the original version, this part is made of metal, which can oxidize and loosen, causing coolant leaks. And for an engine full of electronics, depressurization of the cooling system can have catastrophic consequences: overheating is the easiest option.
