Rudolf Walter Wanderone (1913-1996), famously known as Minnesota Fats, was an American professional pool player and entertainer.

He was one of the most publicly recognized pool players in the United States, largely due to his colorful personality and association with the 1961 film "The Hustler." Although he never won a major pool tournament under the "Fats" moniker, he was inducted into the Billiard Congress of America Hall of Fame in 1984 for his significant promotion of the sport.
