I found this nice 2.25” length holaster species echinoid in a Fort Worth formation creek bank exposure in north Johnson County, TX. It’s perfect across the entire surface except for a small missing chunk off of the bottom of one side, which is visible from that side.

Tubercles are visible as well as several small oysters.

The echinoid shell has high calcite content, giving it a bright reflection under UV 365nm lighting (no light included with purchase though).
