Winter Update: Most of our grapevines are currently in winter dormancy; a few began to grow one or two new leaves last week. We will ship orders starting with the vines that have more leaves, fulfilling on a first-come, first-served basis. More leaves will emerge soon if the weather is warm enough in your location.
Descriptions: A bareroot grapevine (at random), similar to the dormant bareroot vine shown in the above picture. Healthy and easy to grow.
Condition:Newly rooted vine grown from mature cutting that will flower/fruit in one year. They are 10" to 15" in length, around 1/8"-1/4" in thickness
Variety:Lady Finger or Moon Drop Black Seedless. It grows well in our zone 8 area. Each year, we harvest a lot of large size, Elongated, seedless table grapes from this vine. Lady Finger is a mid-season harvest variety. We also carry the early season Thompson and the late season Crimson varieties in separate listings. In between these varieties, we get almost 5 months of endless fresh grapes from our own yard. When we have extra grapes that we cannot consume right away, we dry them under the sun to make homemade raisins. Sweet, meaty and tasty, we love to share these wonderful vines with you.
Details:If you plant it early enough, you should be able to taste a few of these grapes the first fall there. It takes another year or two for them to become full grown. They will then produce heavy crops for years to come.
We also offer different varieties of grape vines, early, mid, or late season harvest. If in season and available, you can find them by clicking here
Please Note:Planting instructions will be sent with the shipment.
To encourage better and heavy crops for this vine, "cane pruning" is highly suggested each winter. Please google it for details.
Combined Shipping: We do offer combined shipping whenever feasible. You can either add all items to one shopping cart or place separate orders in quick succession. We normally automatically refund the extra shipping no later than when your shipping label is created.
