Vintage Baena Mexican painting on burlap. This painting, with its cute subject matter and its day-glo colors, is typical of the work of the Mexican artist, Baena, famous for his paintings of Mexican children and scenes mostly on burlap. It is an original painting by a known artist and artist signed. The actual painting is 12.25” high by 9” wide including the straw border. The painting and the border are in excellent condition. The frame is solid wood that has some scratches and dings. I’ve taken photos to show the ware.
