EVERGREEN Chatterbait Jackhammer, Choice of Oz and Colors
Description
Co-developed by Seizo Shimizu and Barrett Height. The secret bait of top pros finally becomes a reality, backed by numerous proven results.
Since the Chatterbait, the origin of the Braided Jig, was announced in 2004, the Braided Jig was born by combining the experience of Seizo Shimizu, who has continued to use Braided Jigs in top-level tournaments, and the ideas of Mr. Braided Jig, Brett Hite, who won two consecutive tournaments using Braided Jigs in the 2014 FLW Tour and Bassmaster Elite Series season openers. Mr. Braided Jig, Brett Hite, who used the braided jig to win back-to-back tournaments at the 2014 FLW Tour and Bassmaster Elite Series season openers, perfected the braided jig that captures its essence.
Every major component—the blade and head at the jig's heart, the hook, rubber skirt, trailer keeper, and even the blade hole (snap/head connection) position and size—is meticulously crafted down to the tenth of a centimeter.
The core elements of the blade jig, such as the “clear vibration felt in the hand” and the “low-pitched sound of the blade striking the head” that inspired the name “Jackhammer,” were incorporated into the Jackhammer through extensive practical application and unmatched performance.
Using different weights according to the target depth, such as weed tops, yields better results.
