Cleo Teissedre was born in Pasadena, California, in 1930. Her mother was an artist, who worked for Disney Studios.
Cleo moved to Tucson in 1961 Early in her career, Teissedre was the founder of Teissedre Designs, Inc., a pottery factory operating out of a small shop in Tucson, Arizona. The company was sold in 1996, but continued under that name. Always interested in art, Cleo Teissedre's later career was as a watercolor painter and photographer. She died in 2020.
