Gone are the days of guitarist's bragging about the size of their pedal board. Nowadays, a compact, tidy pedal board is the way to go. Fortunately, Eventide have us covered. Eventide is a company that began decades ago, becoming a leading name in the studio world with it's illustrious and powerful studio processors. Fast forward 40 years on, and they have developed one almighty stomp box, which contains literally every effect and sound one could need.
The H9 Max straight out of the box contains 46 effects, ranging from astounding vast sonic landscapes care of the modulation/delay effects, to crazy pitch shifting effects. However, once you have downloaded the free H9 control software and connected the pedal via Bluetooth, USB or MIDI, you are given unlimited access to Eventide's extremely wide library of effects, and these can be assigned to one of the H9 Max's 99 user selected pre-sets. The potential for creativity here is truly enormous.
The most staggering thing about the H9 Max, is not only it's tremendous wealth of sounds and potential for unique creativity, but it's stunning pro level audio quality. It's hard to think of any reason why a guitarist would require a wealth of pedals on a large pedal board anymore, Eventide have changed the game with the H9 Max.
