Description
Wassell 6V DC Postive Regulator
Wassell solid state 6V Positive regulator.
Replaces MCR2/RB108 Mechanical Cut-out (E3L,E3N type dynamos).
Compact design in finned Heat sink.
This unit is small enough to conceal inside the original MCR2 cut out box casing.
Polarised for positive earth only, and cannot be reversed.
Supplied with full wiring instructions
Yellow Wire: Connects directly to the 'D' (Dynamo) terminal on the dynamo.
Green Wire: Connects directly to the 'F' (Field) terminal on the dynamo.
Red Wire: Connects to the Frame Earth (since this is a positive earth system).
Black Wire: Connects to the Battery Negative. If the bike has an ammeter, this wire needs to route through the ammeter so it registers the charge. 15 Amp inline fuse required on Black wire to protect against accidental reverse polarity & damaging the unit permanently.
