The knife is from the Indochina War of 1945-1954 (sold in 1952 to soldiers visiting Angkor). The war was fought between France and Vietnam (the Democratic Republic of Vietnam) and their allies from December 19, 1946 to July 21, 1954[6]. It ended with the division of Vietnam into two independent states: The Democratic Republic of Vietnam (capital - Hanoi) and the Republic of Vietnam (capital - Saigon) and escalated into the Second Indochina War.
The wooden scabbard has a crack that I have shown in the photo.
