Offered is a most interesting Bright Blue ceramic Parker desk base.

Included is an original Parker desk base cardboard box. This box is originally for a square base from the same era. Not a perfect fit but still pretty good. The box has a few dents, bumps etc.

The base’s condition is excellent with no cracks, chips or other major flaws. The original Parker sticker is still mostly present on the edge as shown in pic.5.

I’d rate the base a solid 9/10.

Most of the original felt is still intact on the bottom after 100+ years!

Base Size is approximately 7” across as pictured.

This series of bases were sold in three iterations:

Type I was the first edition with flat sides and flat top.

Type II had lower flat sides and slightly domed top.

Type III with no sides and a continuous domed top.

This base is a Type III and in one of the four colors offered.

The original Parker decal is still partially present(pic 5).
