An absolutely stunning antique Dutch hand carved side table entirely carved by hand with unique Art Nouveau shapes in the style of Kerfsnede which is a Dutch technique. The table has a small drawer with a working lock, in the middle you will find a magazine rack and on the bottom a wooden piece to place your feet.
The side table is a superb piece of craftsmanship, it was used as a sewing box/table organiser in the past. Definitely an eye catcher for your interior and just imagine how much work there was dedicated to create this piece!
The Frisian Kerfsnede technique that has been used for this piece, is the oldest cutting technique of Folk Art in The Netherlands.
Overall is it in good antique condition with signs and scratches from time. The table due to age and use might be a bit wobbly however it is stable.
