⭐ 9.0+ (Very Fine to Near Mint/Mint)

• No major defects.
• May include minor industry‑accepted production faults, such as:
• Minor frayed corners from the cutting process (under 1-2mm)
• One or two tiny colour‑breaking spine tick(s) (under 1-2mm)
• Light colour rub on white/black areas or barcodes
• We cannot guarantee or reserve specific NM/M grades, especially for collectors seeking strict grading thresholds.

⭐ 7.5 – 8.5 (Very Fine, Strong Presentation)

• Minor colour‑breaking folds or spine ticks.
• Light fraying to corners or edges.
• Spine or colour rub may be present.
• Not classed as Near Mint, but still visually appealing that presents well.

⭐ 4.0 – 7.0 (Fine to Very Good - Reader Grade)

• Noticeable wear such as small tears, colour‑breaking folds, creasing, or loose staples.
• Ideal for readers, run‑completers, or collectors who don't mind the condition.

🏷️ Our Standards and Industry Accepted Faults

Raw comics may come from official distributors or customer trade‑ins. All raw comics are immediately placed in new acid‑free bags and boards. Upgrades to Mylar (Mylites) and full‑back boards are available on request, depending on availability.

New comics and many modern print runs can include industry‑accepted production faults, such as minor misprints, small spine creases, frayed corners from cutting, ink smudges or dusting (especially visible on white/black covers). These are common across the hobby and not considered defects eligible for replacement if they fall within normal production tolerance. If you require a comic in a specific grade, we recommend visiting us in person to hand‑select your copy.

Graded comics (CGC, PSA, CBCS, Dynamic Forces etc) arrive sealed and may display Newton rings, a harmless optical effect caused by contact between plastic layers.

📦 Damages and Returns

If an item was received damaged or in a condition that far extends the 'industry accepted faults', we request that they contact us immediately providing a photo to highlight the issue(s). We will endeavour to replace/refund the item once the item has been returned to us.

In non-damage cases, returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery as long as they are returned unused/unread, in their original packaging and in a resellable condition. Buyers are requested to use the original packing and include a note of their eBay username so we can identify the order.
