SOWELO SAW PALMETTO is a plant native to the Southeast United States. Saw palmetto has been used for over ninety years. The effectiveness of Saw Palmetto is related to the properties that reduce the activity of 5-α-reductase - the enzyme that converts tst mens hormone into 5-alpha-reductase (DHT). Saw palmetto is rich in triglycerides and phytosterols which limit the absorption of cholesterol. TST mens hormone is produced from cholesterol and converted into DHT.
SAW PALMETTO through its properties, inhibits androgenic alopecia in men and women. Androgenetic alopecia can also affect women, especially in the period of the decline in female hormones after pregnancy or during the menopause.
