Elegant
antique oil lamp in Florentine style. Structurally, it consists of a base in
the form of a round tray, a chiseled relief leg on which the lamp rod and an
oil vessel with three spouts - burners for the wick are installed. All lamp
elements are made of brass. A brass lamp of this design is the result of the
evolution of ancient terracotta, stone and bronze lamps. In ancient times, the
combustion source used was vegetable oils, then whale oil, and in the 19th and
20th centuries, petroleum and petroleum oils.
Ideal for
decorating various rooms of a home, cafe or restaurant; as a gift to family and
friends on any significant occasion; a rare find for a collector of antique
copper household items.
