Two Stag Head Spill Vases. Height of vase is c.12cm (c.4.75)" and length of base c.11cm (c.4.5"). There are various black soot/ash specks in the glaze and what may be a firing crack on internal surface of one vase, both of which suggest the vases are late 19th or early Twentieth Century. There is a Shamrock on top surface of each base. The undersides of the bases look very much like the undersides of Belleek Seahorse Spill Vases, but I can find no evidence at all that Belleek produced a vase in this pattern or similar and I'm selling strictly on the basis that these vases are unmarked and the manufacturer is unknown. There are various chips, cracks, and hairlines to both vases as well as restoration most notably to the rim of one vase. Please have a look at supersized images for better idea of condition.
