Meanwhile, brother Tony Leung Ka Fai is a stuttering comic book artist who falls for pretty schoolteacher Anita Yuen. Eldest sister Carol "Dodo" Cheng has her tough personality softened by wacky family friend Sean Lau Ching Wan, and the patriarch of the whole clan, Master Kwan Tak Hing of Wong Fei Hong fame, oversees the family with his powerful, commanding presence. With big stars and pleasing performances, It's A Wonderful Life typifies the feel-good family entertainment common during Hong Kong's Lunar New Year season, and was a major hit during its 1994 theatrical release.
