About this item

A charming pair of child sized jug with the underglazed blue Augustus Rex mark on the base. Hand-painted with lovely naïf scenes separated by cobalt blue panels. These are in very good condition with commensurate fading in parts but otherwise fine and especially considering that there are over 150 years old.

No chips. No cracks. No damage. There is some slight spotting internally which is due to the firing process and completely natural.

Each measures circa 7cm tall
