The Lazer Lamps ST2 Evolution is a compact, road-legal LED driving light that punches way above its size. At just 124mm wide, it uses two high-density 11W LEDs and precision conical optics to deliver a powerful ‘Drive’ beam pattern with wide spread and impressive distance performance, making it ideal when space is limited or when complementing other forward lighting.

With 2,068 lumens, a 1 lux line approaching 200m and usable 0.25 lux light stretching to almost 400m, the ST2 Evolution provides a noticeable upgrade over standard high-beam headlights – perfect for rural roads, lanes and light off-road use where you need more confidence and clarity at night.

The ST2 Evolution sits within Lazer’s ST / T Evolution family – a range of slim, versatile light bars and spotlights designed for road and off-road applications. Using premium ‘bin’ 11W LEDs combined with ultra-reflective, vacuum-metallised conical reflectors, the lamp produces a broad, well-controlled beam pattern that gives both reach down the road and strong foreground illumination.

Light colour is set at 5000K with a high CRI, chosen to maximise detail, contrast and depth perception while reducing eye strain on longer journeys. The ‘Drive’ beam pattern is optimised for real-world conditions, especially on twisty rural roads and tracks, where a mix of distance and width is more useful than a narrow, pencil-style beam.

The housing features a seamless, low-profile design which helps reduce dirt, snow and ice build-up and makes installation easier on modern vehicles with tight clearances. A robust centre-mount bracket is supplied as standard, while integral mounting features in the body allow side brackets (available separately) to be used where required.

Internally, the ST2 Evolution uses advanced electronics and thermal management to protect the LEDs and maintain consistent performance. A CAE-optimised heatsink, electronic thermal control and multiple layers of electrical protection help ensure the lamp continues to perform reliably in harsh environments and across a wide operating temperature range.

An ‘unbreakable’ polycarbonate lens with hardcoat lacquer resists chips and scratching, while full IP68 sealing and corrosion-resistant finishes mean the lamp is ready for regular exposure to water, mud, road salt and chemicals. As an ECE R112-approved Class B high-beam driving light with ECE R10 EMC certification, it is fully road legal when installed and aimed correctly.
