An antique English solid sterling silver whistle fob / pendant; beautifully made, with engraved decoration throughout, and a hinged lid to its end - for use as a vesta case / pill box.
A wonderfully unusual antique whistle - perfect for wear on any chain or collection! CONDITION: All original and good. Slight wear & some denting commensurate with age & use. Hinged lid a little distorted, closure may need tightening. Will clean up beautifully. DATE/MARKS: English hallmark for B'ham 1904. Maker's marks A&L Ld. DIMENSIONS: 60 mm long (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter. WEIGHT: Approx. 11.1 grams.
