This may explain why Billy-Joe Homewares says these fit most standard sinks: The upper diameter of the bendable black stopper is 1 7/8" round. The sides of the stopper are slanted, bringing it down to 1.5" diameter at the base. Here's the best part- There is a 3/8" well just inside the flat bottom of the stopper so that the gasket is pliable and adaptable to the angle of one's sink drain, ensuring a closer fit.
