The port are 1/4 inch NPT pipe thread 

I am not sure if it is for Nitrogen, Ox, Argon etc as it does not say.

I looked up Alberts patent number which is on this regulator and it 

was published June 16, 1959 

It looks to be mostly made of brass 

The number 50 is stamped on the bottom

Rare hard to find vintage brass regulator
