Mixing and Storage Guidelines Mix 1 part powder to 2 parts warm water. To determine the correct amount, see the guidelines below. Feed 3 to 5 times a day. Gradually decrease both the quantity of milk formula and number of feedings per day as weaning approaches. Add powder to warm water (approximately 100°F or 37.7°C). Blend until powder is evenly mixed. Place in refrigerator for approximately 8 hours to fully reconstitute. Mixing directions based on volume, not weight measurements.
