Minted 1927-1948 during the British Mandate of Palestine, the 5- and 10-mils coins were engraved in three languages—Hebrew, Arabic, and English. Following the Hebrew word for Palestine, the abbreviation for "Land of Israel" is engraved within parentheses.

Designed with simple elegance, these historic coins are made of 75% copper and 24% nickel. Lightly circulated, they are in excellent condition.
