Description
Japanese fine handcrafted men's wallet golden brown woven silk, leather flap, and inside delicate gold/brown woven ducks and green leaf stalks on brown silk. There is a front circular front metal clasp and on the back a bone ring clasp on ribbon, fitting within a bone knob. Underneath the front flap is a silk lined pocket. Rectangular bronze mirror with cast design of crane among pine trees, sun rising over mountains. Has nobleman's signature Fujihara Masashige. The wallet opens to another pocket with silk covered clasp. Wallet measures 3 1/4"high x 5"wide, and the mirror is 4"high x 2 1/2"wide.
General overall wear, good condition for the age, unsure as to how all of the clasps/closures work, as there appears to be missing pieces.
