Willie Mays, New York Mets ~ Greeter's Card

J. D. McCarthy (see JDM's logo at the lower left/front) issued this postcard size promotional card for Bally's Park Place Casino Hotel where Willie Mays served as a greeter and special assistant to the casino's president in the early 1980s.

Card size (3-1/4" by 5-1/2") is slightly smaller than regular postcard size. The front features a posed photo of Willie in New York Mets uniform (ca.1972) with his name in a nameplate below and facsimile signature printed across Mays' image. The reverse side states: "Compliments of BALLY'S Park Place Casino Hotel".

Condition: Excellent

Shipping OPTIONS are available - YOUR CHOICE of either eBay standard envelope service (ESE) which is cheaper with slower delivery or USPS Ground Advantage (more costly for single cards but much faster delivery). We also offer UNLIMITED singles (up to and including 8X10 inches in size) shipped via Ground Advantage for the one card rate. Both services include insurance but USPS Ground Advantage is considerably quicker, with fewer limitations.
