  Rudi Reichardt is a self taught artist, and native of Germany, who immigrated to Canada in 1951.   He quickly established himself by painting murals, paintings, and even furniture for his clients, creating gorgeous works featuring the Canadian landscape.  Eventually moving to Florida, Reichardt became known for his seascapes, landscapes and wildlife paintings.  His lighthouse images are alive with movement, depth and color. This woven blanket interpretation well captures the beauty of the artist's original work.
