Gorgeous set of 6 Pontesa Spain White Embossed Salad or Dessert Plates, Chinamoda. Ironstone. These vintage Ironstone dishes would be excellent for Christmas, for display or a winter party or New Years. The border is in the Acanthus pattern, with swirls or flowers in the centers that resemble poinsettias.
Four of the plates are 8 inches, two are slightly smaller at 7 3/4 inches in diameter.
In excellent overall condition: One plate has 3 spots of yellowing, two have tiny flakes on the embossing, one has a dark dot. See close-up photos for details.
