The Elegance Boutique was an international mail order company that catered to a high end clientele. They featured many European designers. This catalog is in English, French and German.  I find this catalog especially interesting because it shows how the clothing of the time looked when it was completely styled with hair and accessories. These larger catalogs act as travelogues and they feature clothing in exotic locales. this one features Paris, Rome, Provance, Austria, turkey, and more.  I also like how designers are featured. Many well known like Carven, Lanvin, and Chloe, along with lesser known European designers. A great reference catalog.
