Hello, my name is John, and friends call me the "Roomba Guy."  I have been repairing robotic Vacuums for eight years. I invented this contact repair kit to solve the irritating contact charging problems plaguing many of my customers' Roombas.

Replacing the original contact pads on an iRobot vacuum is difficult, so I knew there had to be a better way. (A short how-to install video is at the end of this write-up.)

I know --- there are knock-offs of my idea being sold. My thought for you to consider is that things that often look similar are, in fact, not created equal to the original.

This sale offers an easy-to-use electrical contact service repair kit that can resolve many iRobot Roomba vacuum charging and communication issues.

These pure nickel (99.8%) metal covers are simply placed over the original Roomba charging contacts.

Why is nickel as the metal of choice important? Because it is one of the best electrical conductors on Earth. Nickel is also relatively hard so that it won't wear out, and this top-quality metal is corrosion-resistant.

After 2 years of use, the contact covers I first installed are still working perfectly on my Roombas.

It takes about fifteen minutes, and your Roomba's charging contact issues are fixed. Please note: These nickel plates restore the connectivity of poor-quality contacts on a Roomba, and that is all they do. These contact covers cannot fix a bad battery, an internal charging problem, or a "short" in the vacuum's electronics.

I am so pleased that over 1,800 have been sold, and as a result, many Roomba vacuums worldwide are now working properly.

Whether your iRobot Roomba is brand new or has been used for some time, you should consider installing this kit. This is a great investment that will keep your expensive vacuum working long-term.

The great thing about installing these covers is that the original contacts on the Roomba won't wear out further. So, these caps are proactive and reactive fixes to resolve charging issues.

The replaceable caps are pre-formed to fit over your Roomba charging pads. These nickel overlays are specifically designed to be held in place by the black plastic bottom cover of the vacuum.

So, let's get your Roomba robot vacuum cleaner back to performing well!

These preformed and fitted conducting nickel caps are designed and available to be put on the following Roomba series/models.

500 600 700 800 900 E -series, i -series, j -series. ---see master list below

These replaceable covers are NOT designed to work on the( 400, 4000 models, which were made over 15 years ago.) or the Roomba Essential model or the S-models like the S9 or S9+ --- NOTE: These covers will not work on the newest design IROBOT ROOMBA I5+ COMBO VACUUM & MOP
