This is a very unique and rare Amperite microphone made in New York City during the 1940's. The mic was low impedance which alot of musicians actually prefer. I did a very basic test using a small amp and was able to hear the output, though it needs a snall transformer or something to work properly. It has a very industrial steampunk look that I know you'll love.
Some cosmetic wear on the chrome finish, typical after 60+ years, including a little pitting and some light scratches or scuff marks, but overall in above average condition. Also, missing the original Amperite nameplate on the switch. Features original parts including a low-impedence element, which seems to work but I can't test that properly or guarantee it. Would make an amazing display or prop -- or replace with a Shure CM or CR and it will sound as good as it looks! Guaranteed to be as described and shown. Buy it now at my low eBay price and save!
