Fully Restored Hartge 16x7.5 Alloys

This is a fully restored set of vintage Hartge alloys done in silver metallic paint with satin clear coat.  Here are the details:

• Size = 16x7.5 
• Offset = 13mm
• Lug spacing is 5 on 120mm.
• Center bore = 72.5
• Weight about 18 lbs
• Made for Hartge by Ronal in Germany in 1988 (all 4 date matched).
• • Fully Restored. 
    • Verifying the wheels were true, which they were for 3 of them.   One wheel had a minor flat spot on the rear barrel and was professionally trued.  Some minor curb rash on each of the outer lips was blended and sanded to a smooth finish.  There were no other cracks or other damages to the wheels.  
    • Each entire wheel (minus the outer lip) was then chemially stripped and then painted with a custom paint matched catalyzed silver metallic base paint.  The paint was color matched to a good used Hartge center cap so that the buyer can install new or used Hartge caps, and the paint should be a very close or exact color match.  Two coats were applied to the back surfaces and three coats were sprayed on the front faces.  Once the silver base coat was dry, 2 coats of catalyzed satin clear paint was applied to each wheel.  Each coat was applied approximately 10 minutes from the prior coat.  Once dry, the outer surface was cut and buffed as necessary.  There are significant flaws that I can find in the wheels.  No to minimal orange peal texture.  See photos.
    • No center caps are included in this listing.   Again, if original Hartge caps are installed, the color should match the wheels.   
  • I have spun each wheel on a balancer and verified that it is trued and straight. 

  You will be hard pressed to find a much nicer set of these wheels! At least one photo of each wheel is shown below.  Supersize to see the details.  These wheels are an excellent upgrade wheel set for older 5-lug BMWs such as E9, E28, and E24 cars.  They will fit E9, E3, E23, E30 M3, E34, E32, and all the 8 series cars,  but please research to be sure that 7.5" wide 13mm offset wheels will fit both the front and rear of your car.   If fitted on any of these cars, there is no need for any spacer or hubcentric ring

  Packaging.  I generally ship wheels in pairs so this set will go out in 2 boxes.  Each pair is double-boxed, with rigid foam material between each box.   This adds some cost, but my wheels never get damaged in transit.

  RETURNS.  Aardvarc takes great pride in providing used and restored wheels that are packaged and shipped in the condition described.  We are experts in the field and do not offer items that are defective.  Once wheels leave our facility, damages can occur.  We encourage the buyer to open and fully inspect this set of wheels within 3 days of receipt and make any "not as described" claims within this period.   In the event the buyer is not pleased with the wheels due to Aardvarc's error in not properly describing the wheels or as a result of transport, Aardvarc will accept and pay for return shipping of the wheels, and will make a full refund or make the appropriate repairs and ship the wheel(s) back to the buyer at Aadvarc's expense.  If the buyer's installer damages a wheel, Aardvarc is willing to make any repairs at the buyer's expense.  If the buyer  has "buyer's remorse" and wants to return the wheels because they do not fit his car or are not the correct color, size, or other aspect, Aardvarc will accept a return and refund buyer's full payment minus the original shipping cost and a 10% restocking fee.  In other words, be sure you want this set of wheels.
