RUBEROID FLooring Products catalog (1969)
 

Out-of-print, hard-to-find 8 1/2" x 11" paper catalog with 32 pages from the GAF Corporation, Floor Products Division, New York, NY.  Undated but taken from a publication issued in 1969. 

Asbestos Reference:

Vinyl asbestos tile is shown in several patterns/designs and colors that met Federal Specification SS-T-312 Type IV. There are 12 pages devoted to vinyl asbestos tile.

Asphalt tile conformed to Federal Specification SS-T-312 Type I which although not stated in this catalog included asbestos fibers in the composition.  There is 1 page of asphalt tile shown.

Luran six-foot wide sheet vinyl flooring came in several patterns/designs and colors that utilized an asbestos felt backing for AIRTRED "100 plus", Foamcraft and Regency Embossed styles.  There are 7 pages of Luran vinyl flooring. This type of sheet vinyl can sometimes be confused with linoleum due to its softer and more flexible nature as compared to asphalt or vinyl asbestos flooring.

Book Condition:
The catalog is in VERY GOOD condition!!  The pages may have some lite browning due to age.   It's still a very good booklet with plenty of life left in it!!
